A True Thanksgiving

Every Thanksgiving, we are thankful for so many things. This year is no different. In fact, this year, we have even more to celebrate. This first is our family. This year, we are a new family. We have a son! We are our own family this year. And that feels magnificent. But we are also so grateful for our parents and siblings and aunts and uncles and grandparents and nieces and nephews and... well, you get the picture! We have extremely supportive families and we give thanks for them.

We are also so blessed to have such wonderful friends, both long time friends and new ones. Our friends are our support system here in Boston, and through this whole adoption process, we have leaned on them for so much, and they have been there every step of the way. We have been lucky enough to meet so many nice families through this process, and we know that our friendships will grow with through the years.

Tomorrow when we reflect on our past year, our hearts will be fuller than our stomachs! Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

(Just 9 more days until we meet our little boy! Can you stand it???)

Oh, I cant' believe how close it is! That's incredible! Nine days *ago* was only last tuesday, and that seems hardly any time ago (to me, anyway, not sure how much more slowly the time is going for you!)
I hope you have a wonderfully happy thanksgiving full of sweet anticipation :)
