Here he is, pre-procedure, watching "Finding Nemo" on Colleen's laptop. He was a champ! He was so well behaved, he charmed the staff, and he is recovering quickly. The whole thing only took 20 minutes, we were home by 10 in the morning. We are all home for the rest of the day, and we decided that Jacob gets as many popsicles as he wants, and gets to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and/or Finding Nemo. The doctor said he is going to start hearing a lot better, so we are watching him closely, over-interpreting everything he says and how he says it. Thanks for all the emails and phone calls of support! We were a bit nervous going in and through-out this whole thing, but it seems like everything is going to be all right.

Totally Tubular
JF here. First of all, don't worry! Just because you are seeing two posts in a row from me doesn't mean anything has happened to Colleen. She is just fine (out jogging at the moment in fact.) This morning we took Jacob to Children's Hospital and he had tubes put in his ears.

So glad to hear that everything went well! Hurray for popsicles-always the best for recovery :) IMHO.
great news! And I jut cannot BEAR how cute he looks in his teeny weeny gown!
Of course he did great! That Jacob is AMAZING!!! Can't wait to give him a big hug and high-five for rockin' the casbah! Lots of love from the Zimmer gals!
Great to hear he is doing so well! Yabbi had eye surgery a couple of weeks ago and I was amazed at how easy it was!
Godspeed, Jacob !!
